Tap Dance
Tap dancing refines fine motor skills and stimulates cognition through use of the feet and complicated rhythms. It teaches co-ordination, stimulation through rhythms and music are cultivated through fun and exciting classes.
Using Jazz and different rhythms, Tap dancing stimulates not only cardiovascular conditioning, but builds strength in legs and posture. It develops muscular and mental awareness, muscle memory and a greater sense of rhythm. Anyone can tap dance, even with no previous experience. From Broadway to American tap styles, it is an excellent skill.
Uniform
Black leotard, leggings/tights. Single tap shoes , hair neatly off face. Black wrap around jumper. (other coloured uniform is optional for practice).
